Diveworks Charters inshore trips are extremely popular and our 18 -20 knot cruise allows us to cover many places in a day.
Travelling times;
Kohi Point (10 mins)- Whale Island (20 mins)- Coastlands Beach (10 mins)- Rurima Islands (25 mins)- Matata (30 mins)- Ohope Beach (15 mins). North West reef (40 mins)
Usual catches - Snapper - Kingfish - Kahawai - Terakihi - Gurnard - Maomao - John Dory - Porae
Trips run: are half day, full day, evening.
Trip times: Full day trips normally 0800 to 4.00 pm
4 Hour trips, 0800-1200. 1300-1700. 1730- 2130. other times to suit
Fish caught, It is our policy that all fish caught go into a combined pool and are shared evenly amongst all fare paying anglers on our return, however special fish or trophy fish are dealt with according to the wishes of the captor.
We have quality hire equipment & Bait available.
PASSENGERS;
We can carry up to 15 (Max 10 adults plus 5 Children) however we recommend max 9 for comfortable block bookings.
Note: Nth West Reef, Matata and Opotiki Mussel farm are extended inshore, see Terms and rates
