You will find our boat Diveworks easy to dive from, with plenty of room for kitting up, lots of hand holds and places to sit.
The rear drop gate dive ladder is removed for an easy unobstructed step entry from the rear of the boat. Reboarding the boat is simple with enough room for 3 people to sit on the boarding gate which sits at aprox 45 deg.

Diving at Whale Island
Whale (Moutohora) Island Wildlife sanctuary is only 7 kms from Whakatane and offers wonderfully scenic diving opportunities for those who do not wish to venture as far afield.
4 hour dive trips to Whale Island offer countless opportunities to check out typical sub tropical New Zealand waters. Abundant fish life includes: Moki, Leather jackets, Blue Maomao, Goatfish, wrass.

Dive the SeaFire Wreck
The 44 meter deepsea trawler the Seafire was sunk near Whale Island in November 2008 as a dive wreck, be amongst the first to explore her.

Get a group of at least 6 mates, get your cray gloves, catch bags, spearguns. Let us take you to a new spot amongst the 100's of acres os scattered reef area's we call the Rau's. If required we can supply all equipment.
